The Ice Cream Museum is located at 558 Broadway New York, NY 10012. The nearest public transportation station is the East Broadway subway stop on the F train.
It’s easy to get to; there are a bunch of ways for you to arrive at the Ice Cream Museum. We recommend taking the 4, 5, or 6 trains that run through Spring Street station. Alternatively, you can take the N, Q, or R trains to Prince Street station which is just across the street from our amazing establishment.
Bus Route M1, M55, SIM1, SIM1C can drop you at Broadway/W Houston Street, which is about 5 minutes’ walk from the Ice Cream Museum.
There are many parking garages available near the Ice Cream Museum.
Museum of Ice Cream NYC Hours
Located in New York, the Ice Cream Museum is open daily, except Tuesdays. This charming ice cream shop re-creates the history of ice cream and invites enthusiasts to sample different types of this cool food for a small fee. The shop also offers free tours on weekends for groups of eight or more.
The Ice Cream Museum is open 10am – 5:30pm from Wednesday to Monday. They remain closed on Tuesdays.
After the day visits end, it reopens at 6:30 PM for its second act, this time with a completely different selection of ice sculptures by leading local and international artists.
This is also where we recommend our more adventurous visitors to come, although we ask that those 16 years and older for our night visit.
Night at the Museum is open different hours depending on the day of the week, and it is closed on certain holidays. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, it’s open from 7:30 to 7:30 pm; on Fridays and Saturdays, it’s open from 8 to 8:30 pm; and on Sundays, it’s open from 8 to 8:00 pm.
This place is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

The Museum of Ice Cream is an interactive experience where visitors can take as long as they want to explore 13 multi-sensory installations. With ice cream-themed rooms, photo-ops, and treats, you’ll have as much time as you need to soak in all its surreal glory. The museum encourages visitors to spend a minimum of 90 minutes exploring the installation, which isn’t hard when you’re having so much fun.
At first glance, it would seem that the Museum of Ice Cream is a simple pop-up shop with bright colours and quirky installations. But there is more to it; behind the fun installations are big ideas of what we define as happiness, life values, and identity. Visitors to the Museum can explore an entire world of ice cream, from its invention until now, through innovations and interpretations through multimedia installations and creative displays.

Getting your tickets at the door can be a messy affair: you have to stand in a long line, buy them and then wait for hours inside the museum.

You can enter the museum up to half an hour after your ticketed entry time. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, admission is not guaranteed and you will not receive a refund.
If you’re bringing your kids, be sure to bring a photo ID and any other identification that the staff might request. Having your face on file will help speed up the check-in process, so only those registered for entry will be able to gain entry.
